Fungicide Decisions For Head Scab
Wheat fungicide decisions will need to be made soon as the Scab Forecast shows moderate to high risk of infection in MN/ND!
Timing the spray for suppression of Scab (FHB) should focus on early heading, when anthers just become visible.?
Variety is an important part of the decision, so here is a table that may be helpful.

1.) 1-9 scale: 1 = most resistant, 9 = most susceptible.
2.) Stem rust levels have been very low in production fields in recent years, even on susceptible varieties.
3.) Includes tan spot, septoria, bacterial leaf stripe and powdery mildew.
