Dennis Berglund is the General Manager and CEO of CENTROL Crop Consulting in Twin Valley, MN. His responsibilities include consulting with growers and management of CENTROL, which has 35 full time agronomists that provide a full range of agronomic consulting. He has been a crop consultant in the Red River Valley, on the border between ND and MN, for 29 years.

CENTROL is an employee-owned crop consulting company that provides a service to farmers so that they can maximize their farm profitability. They do not sell any products and have no ties to product sales.

Berglund grew up in a small farming and ranching community in Western North Dakota. He has an Ag degree in Microbiology from North Dakota State University. His background includes positions as a Plant Pathology Research Technician and Plant Pathology Graduate student, both at North Dakota State University. He has also worked as an underground miner, theater projectionist, motorcycle racer and surveyor. He earned the rank of Eagle as a Boy Scout.

He is a Past-President of the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants. He is certified as a Certified Professional Crop Consultant (CPCC-I) and Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg). He was recognized, in 1995, as Consultant of the Year and in 1999 received the Site-Liner award, for advancement of precision ag. He has been interviewed by various farm journals, magazines and broadcast media, including Newsweek and PBS. Other consulting duties have been with USDA, American Cyanamid, and John Deere.

Dennis and his family live near Twin Valley, MN where he and his wife, Annette, are active in the local Church and community. Some of his interests are guns and gun history, computer technology, coin collecting, motorcycles, learning, traveling, and Cub Scouting.
